What is the meaning of the name Hannah?

Preferably the Hebrew definition. I cant seem to find it.

What is the meaning of the name Hannah?
Meaning: Grace Of God
Reply:From the Hebrew name 讞址谞旨指讛 (Channah) which meant "favour" or "grace". Hannah was the mother of the prophet Samuel in the Old Testament. The Latin version of this name is Anna.
Reply:It comes from the Hebrew word for beauty,"Chen".

Hannah was one of the" four biblical mothers". The other three were Rebecca, Leah, %26amp; Sarah.

It is also the word for "grace" %26amp; "favour"
Reply:check this site out!!!
Reply:Hannah means "grace", or "God has favored me with a child". It is a Hebrew word, so grace is probably the meaning, while the "favoring" aspect comes from the circumstances surrounding the name in the Bible.
Reply:Hannah means most compassionate.

Nice name.
Reply:Grace of God.
